- Network Administration: Design, engineer, document, implement, troubleshoot, and repair network systems (routing, switching, firewall, voice instruments).
- Monitor networks for outages and performance issues, making recommendations for enhancements.
- Install and maintain infrastructure cabling to policy and standards.
- Manage inventory for network devices and consumables.
- Liaise with Cisco TAC for hardware or software issues.
- Maintain warranty information and ensure timely problem resolution.
- Evaluate new products/services for improved customer service.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior technicians.
- Collaborate with support technicians and offer end-user assistance.
- Deliver 2nd and 3rd Tier hardware/software support.
- Assign and prioritize tasks/projects based on requirements and guidance.
- Offer after-hours support for maintenance and updates.
- Provide emergency on-call support.
- Active TS/SCI clearance w/ poly.
- Minimum 15 years of IT infrastructure management experience.
- IT degree required, or 5 additional years of experience may substitute.
- Minimum 5 years of network administration experience.
