They take care of brake systems, engines, and steering systems. After your apprenticeship, you will have knowledge in mechanics, electronics, and computer science.Look forward to:
repairing, maintaining, and servicing buses, trucks, and special vehicles, conducting lighting tests, performing chassis alignments, inspecting structures and movable equipment, testing brake systems, drive units, engine management, and electro-hydraulic steering systems using electronic measuring and diagnostic devices.
You will learn at the Richard Fehrenbach Trade School in Freiburg (two blocks of six weeks) and additionally two blocks of inter-company training at the Chamber of Crafts.
The duration of the apprenticeship is 3.5 years.After completing your apprenticeship, you will then be responsible for the maintenance and upgrading of our electric cars, trams, buses, or other interesting special vehicles such as forklifts or rail cleaners, depending on your focus.
