Our Franchise
Field Food Service Manager **coordinates and supports all franchise (Subway, Ramunto's, Aroma Joe's, Honey Dew, D'Angelo's') activities in their assigned locations. Trains, coaches, supports managers in ensuring all brand standards are implemented and followed at all locations. Works with the management team on the development of new business. Plans and sets business goals for each location. Focuses on in store issues and is actively involved with the personal development of all team members.

  • Provide leadership to managers and staff in their assigned area to ensure compliance with standards set in franchise operations manuals and applicable government regulations.
  • Work with staff to achieve sales goals.
  • Ensure that correct operational and food safety procedures are followed and takes corrective action as necessary.
  • Coach and train franchise managers, food supervisors and staff for operational excellence, helps to develop new hire orientation programs, monitors training program to ensure quality training of all employees.
  • Develop and maintain staffing level for Managers and assistant Managers. Implements management training.
  • Support local and national marketing initiatives.
  • Completes online course work on University of Subway and Global U as directed.
  • Responsible for insuring store is properly staffed, working with Manager to make sure all shifts covered. Insure stores in area are scheduling within budget guidelines.
  • Assist with weekly counts and ordering.
  • Assist with recruiting and interviewing perspective franchise foodservice employees.
  • Ensure excellent customer service
  • Insures that all reports and logs are accurately filled out in a timely manner.
  • Complete Zenput evaluations once per month at all locations
  • Work with Manager to complete action log to correct any issues in your evaluation as well as Food safety & branded Field Consultant evaluations.
  • Enter weekly counts, missing invoices & transfers to PDI. Monitor purchase and Inventory movement reports.
  • Receives limited direction and exercises independent judgement within the scope of their role

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of retail food sales and prior leadership experience in a food service environment required.
  • Must attend mandatory meetings (I.e. T.A.M, sexual harassment, etc.)
  • Must be available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, weekends and or holidays, assist other locations as needed, and be available via phone after regular business hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Be able to freely access all areas of the store and must be able to work any
