    Job Description
    SUMMARY Perry Ellis International is looking for a responsible individual who has a passion for the retail industry. The person will supervise the supply chain to ensure timely execution of the main steps. Follow standard procedures for the validation and allocation process. Candidates must have the ability to work well with co-workers and other staff members in various depts.

    Must be able to multitask, take on assignments given, detail-oriented, capable of working under pressure, and ability to make quick and appropriate decisions that will benefit the company and our customers.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Validate EDI orders.
    • Allocate orders and distribute them to the different warehouses.
    • Process and track all orders whether they are make-up or stock.
    • Work in conjunction with Purchasing, Imports, Sales, Planning, and the warehouses to expedite orders in a timely manner.
    • Request distros and extensions when needed.
    • Provide customer service to accounts when needed.
    • Maintain clean reports, files, and documentation for future needs.
    • Ensure that Sarbanes/Oxley Act is being adhered to within the sales team.
    • Assist Claims Department in resolving chargebacks whenever information is requested by them.
    • Work closely with Inventory Control to monitor the accuracy of the inventory.
    • Follow up on Special Project forms

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • AA or Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • Bilingual
    • Retail or wholesale apparel background preferred
    • Time Management Skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication required.
    • Ability to work flexible hours depending on workload.
