    This position has the responsibility of providing senior environmental remediation and compliance support for operations in Colorado and New Mexico, following established environmental systems, keeping detailed records, and preparing reports to regulatory agencies to assure compliance with Federal, state, and local rules and regulations.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Previous experience with Colorado ECMC Forms 19 and Forms 27 submittals a must.
    Coordinate environmental compliance programs corporate-wide, including spill notification, remediation, SPCC planning, APENS, stormwater discharge, VOC monitoring, etc.

    Support and train other environmental staff on field procedures, spill response, sampling, and remediation oversightMonitor compliance with permit conditionsPrepare and submit compliance reports as required by ECMC and NMOCD.

    Assists operations with incident, excess emission, and upset condition reportingPrepare for agency inspections and interface with regulatory agencies during field inspections and information requestsEncourage environmentally sound and safe practicesDevelop a cultural attitude of regulatory complianceOther responsibilities as assignedKnowledge, Skill, and Ability:
    Basic understanding of oil and gas operations including drilling, production, well servicing, and facilitiesStrong attention to detail and ability to report data accuratelyResourceful and enjoys conducting research and data evaluationEffective verbal and written communication skillsEffective organization and time management skillsAbility to analyze and solve problemsAbility to act as a team playerAbility to comfortably interact with people at all organizational levels within the corporation and with people outside the corporation working in regulatory, competitive, collaborative, or other rolesAbility to perform field work, collect field data, write notes, and document observations

    Experience:
    A Bachelor of Science degree in a field related to Environmental Science, Geology, or Engineering.5-10 years Oil and Gas and/or environmental complianceWorking Environment/
