Machine Operator

Location:
Palm Spring

Contract:
Temp to Perm

Schedule: 1st shift and 2nd shift

Salary:
$18 - $20

DESCRIPTION:


RESPONSABILITIES:


  • Machine Operation: Operate and monitor industrial machinery to produce highquality products according to
production schedules.

  • Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet established quality standards.
  • Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal functionality and
troubleshoot minor issues as they arise.

  • Setup and Changeovers: Set up machines for production runs and perform changeovers when switching between
- product types on SMED principles.

  • Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Efficiency: Continuously improve machine efficiency and production output.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production data, machine maintenance, and quality checks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to meet production goals and resolve any production related issues.
  • Training: Train and mentor junior operators as needed.
  • Adherence to Procedures: Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a high level of
quality and safety.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Minimum of 2 years in a production industry (Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics, Food & Beverage, Distribution,
Electronics)

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Technical or vocational training is a plus).
  • Proven experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills.
  • OSHA Lockout Tagout Training Experience Requirements
