We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, compassionate individual to join our team as an IT Project Support Specialist.

As an IT Project Support Specialist, you will ensure the implementation, configuration, and successful operation of our corporate/end-user technology at a new healthcare facility. This role demands a hands-on IT background alongside adept project coordination skills for overseeing office space setup, cable installation, computer deployment, wiring configuration and digital communication channels. With a hands-on workload comprising 50% of the role with additional responsibilities akin to a help desk technician, you must thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating exceptional multitasking, organizational, and project management abilities. This position is ideal for either a technical project coordinator seeking to enhance their skills or for a hands-on helpdesk expert looking to broaden their expertise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for delivering the IT services for the Berwick site and new future sites including PC's, Servers, Printers, Phones and Local Network equipment.
Guide technical projects from start to finish to deliver on time and within budget.
Manage all local IT field operations activities at the site(s) including maintaining all support processes, employee relations, and asset management (configuration, repair, projects, license management, and security systems)
Maintain a solid grasp of software cloud systems used within the Clinic, web tech, and IT infrastructure, especially within the corporate environment.
Provide comprehensive desktop support in a fast-paced, ad hoc, small business environment.
Administer hardware and software installation, and troubleshoot PC, printers, and phones.
Engage with stakeholders across all levels – from gathering insights to updating progress and leading meetings.
Understand the unique nuances of small businesses, healthcare facilities, and tailor your project management strategy accordingly.

Ability to work predominantly on-site with occasional travel within central Pennsylvania (less than 10%)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Outlook (M365 suite), Digital Phone Systems, Digital Conferencing Systems, and related cloud tech for collaboration.
Successful completion of background check and drug screen.
Maintain compliance with all Gloria Gates CARE standards, including Conduct, Compliance, and all other policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Highschool diploma or equivalent GED
Tech Degree or Associate degree in an IT field is preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an IT Desktop Support Technician along with 2 years of experience owning the lifecycle of a project from inception to completion.
Understanding the technological requirements of healthcare facilities and staff, as well as the ability to integrate these needs into project management, is highly advantageous.
