Black Forest Games, a subsidiary of Embracer Group and the largest studio of THQ Nordic Vienna, is seeking talented AI programmers to join our team in Lindenhurst, NY.

Our studio is known for its successful remake of 'Destroy All Humans' and we are currently working on our next outstanding game using the Unreal Engine.


As an AI programmer, you will collaborate with designers, artists, leads, and others to bring abstract ideas to life through code.

Your role will involve creating artificial intelligence for characters, implementing combat mechanics, and developing gameplay logic and systems.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about video games and have a solid understanding of C++ and creative problem-solving skills.


Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of C++ and creative problemsolving abilities
  • University degree (not necessarily in computer science)
  • Experience working on recent AAA characterbased games
  • Passion for video games
  • Proficient in English

Preferred, but not required:

  • 3+ years of experience at a game studio and at least one completed game
