- Provide rapid assessment and stabilization of patients experiencing life-threatening trauma or illness.
- Provide direct treatment to patients, including minor medical procedures.
- Establish diagnosis and treatment plan for patients in the Emergency Room
- Performs other duties as requested
- Participates in departmental or organizational meetings and trainings
- Demonstrates ability to use equipment relevant to the position
- Graduate of accredited PA program
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working effectively as team member with physicians and other staff
- Maintain National Certification
- Eligible for registration with MN Board of Medical Practice
- First Aid and CPR Certification ALS

Provide emergency care to patients through assessment, planning, coordination and intervention. Delegate aspects of care to nursing personnel and other disciplines based upon their job descriptions.
