The German Railway is not only one of the most important mobility service providers, but also one of the largest engineering firms in Germany.

Currently, more than engineers work for us to realize and sustainably maintain new bridges, tunnels, train stations, tracks, and signal systems - but it's not enough.

As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you can plan, manage, or supervise something that will remain:
the infrastructure for future generations.

The general renovation of the "Riedbahn", the route between Mannheim and Frankfurt, is the first project of Deutsche Bahn to be carried out as a so-called "general renovation".

It serves as a pilot project and serves as a blueprint for all future projects. This will result in more quality, punctuality, and capacity on the environmentally friendly rail.

We will renew over 400 facilities on a 65km stretch of track in a short period of time, including tracks, switches, bridges, noise barriers, and traffic stations.

All construction measures will be implemented - and all in just 5 months.

This means for us:
A perfect preparation is required for this project.

In the coming months, the "Riedbahn" team will finalize the measures and prepare them accordingly, in order to then manage the construction implementation.
