We are humbled by the long-term relationships with our customers, earned through the packaging solutions we offer, including design, engineering, testing, manufacturing, and fulfillment of custom and stock packagingYour RoleAs an HR Generalist with us, youll perform HR day-to-day and continuous improvement tasks working closely with our General Managers and other senior leaders of your assigned divisions in alignment with the Corporate HR team.

Youll use your attention to detail, deadline-driven and continuous improvement focus to support efforts in sourcing/recruiting/onboarding, coaching/guidance regarding employee relations concerns, benefits, training, performance management, off boarding, leave of absence administration and policy and employment law complianceWhat Youll Be DoingRecruiting and RetentionConducts recruitment for all exempt personnel, students and liaises with temporary agencies; creates job advertisements, assists hiring manager with interview process and questionsWorks closely with management and employees to build morale and increase productivity and retentionTraining and DevelopmentIdentifies training needs for departments, managers, or individuals and develops training or finds resources to meet the learning goalsParticipates in evaluation and monitoring of training to ensure training objectives are metEmployee RelationsAssist employees and managers with policy and practices interpretationProvides day-to-day performance guidance to supervisors/managers (e.g., coaching, career development, counseling or disciplinary actions and open-door policy)Develops high-performing teams and organizationsRecord KeepingRecords employees activities in the department, in order to stay in complianceMaintains DayForce, our HRIS (Human Resource Information System), including maintenance of personnel records and compiling of reports from systemWhat Wed Like to See from YouRequiredBilingual in English and SpanishComfortable working onsite and in a manufacturing environmentMinimum of 2 years in an HR Generalist, or related roleAssociate's or bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, similar field of study or equivalent work experienceProficiency in HCMs like DayForce, Workday, Paycom and the likeHighly DesiredCertified Professional, i.e., SHRM or HRCIIn-depth knowledge of applicable Texas state labor and tax lawsWhere Can I Go from Here?This role can serve as a steppingstone toward Human Resources Business PartnerInterested but Concerned Youre Not Qualified?You may have differences in skills, education, and experience which can be applied in many ways.
