Description

Join our team as an HR Generalist, where you'll lead our Austin Human Resources department in daily operations, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration.

Your role will ensure our compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local employment laws, while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct engaging new hire orientations and streamline the onboarding process.
  • Proactively manage employee relations, resolving conflicts and addressing grievances with empathy and fairness.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees on benefits programs, guiding them through any inquiries.
  • Maintain meticulous employee records and HRIS data to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Drive performance management processes, conducting evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
  • Conduct job evaluations and market analysis to ensure competitive pay rates.
  • Ensure precise payroll processing and timecard management.
  • Offer expert guidance on compensation matters to managers and employees.
  • Uphold compliance with wage and hour laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Safety department to investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective measures.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to guarantee compliance with safety regulations.
  • Efficiently manage workers' compensation claims, including reporting and collaboration with insurance providers.
  • Support HR projects and operational initiatives to contribute to the organization's overall success
  • Demonstrate flexibility and commitment by performing other duties as assigned

Education / Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR roles.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in MS Office or HRIS systems.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, or PHR) is a plus

Compensation:

$65,000 - $75,000 Annually
