    Meridian HealthCare in Youngstown, OH is looking to hire bring on compassionate and detailed Custodians to work at our various residential and medical facilities.

    Part-time positions are available and allow for flexibility to work a day or midnight shift pending location.

    A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CUSTODIANEnsure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfacesSweep and mop floors and vacuum carpetsWash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g.

    soap)Wipe mirrors and windowsMaintain outer premises by cleaning entrancesUtilize insecticides to prevent infestation by dangerous pestsReport major damages and oversee repairsUndertake occasional custodial and janitorial tasks (shoveling snow from the sidewalk, lifting heavy items, moving chairs etc.)QUALIFICATIONS FOR CUSTODIANProven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar roleKnowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliancesKnowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous componentsAttention to detail and conscientiousnessHS DiplomaValid driver's license with good driving record preferred.
