    Description

    Korn Ferry has partnered with a global manufacturing organization on their search for an HR Manager. It is a great opportunity for the right individual to lead the Human Resources function for two of their sites in the North East region. Union experience is required for this role. The HR Manager will be a true business partner to the plants and execute HR strategies from recruitment to retention. They will support key stakeholders, plant management, and HR leaders in this role.

    Responsibilities include but not limited to overseeing employee relations, performance and talent management, learning & development, total rewards and employee engagement.

    • The HR Manager must be able to work in challenging labor relations environment, and understand and interpret collective bargaining agreements, managing disciplinary actions, grievances and arbitrations.
    • Oversee employee relations investigations, help to mediate, and put effective solutions in place.
    • Assist Managers in assessing and identifying resources to meet departmental and employee training needs.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree is REQUIRED
    • 5-7 years of Human Resources experience working in a union environment REQUIRED
    • Working in manufacturing, distribution or industrial environments highly preferred
