Job Description Summary
General maintenance of ACCRS indoor and outdoor premises. Works with all departments on an as needed basis. Coordinates engineering activity in the absence of the Director of Facilities and Facilities Manager.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

  • In the absence of the Engineering Director, or Engineering Manager, receives and reviews all engineering request forms, to review the problem and find resolution, and to then delegate the assignments to the hourly TM's.
  • Must understand and administer work related projects/requests from the CMMS (preventative maintenance) program.
  • Responsible for all timely and accurate documentation of all repairs and PM reports.
  • To have working knowledge of HVAC, Chillers, Boilers, Pumps, Cooling Towers, and related piping.
  • Must have working knowledge of meters, Gauges, and other test equipment, and assure accurate operation, in order to detect and identify problems and the appropriate path for repairs.
  • Works with outside vendors, to schedule repairs and monitor them for professional and qualified work.
  • Perform departmental/specific projects which include, but not limited to, any assigned duties from the Engineering Director, or Engineering Manager.
  • Changing of light bulbs and air filters.
  • Minor wall / paint repairs.
  • Carpentry repairs.
  • Plumbing repairs.
  • Electrical repairs.
  • Tile/ masonry work.
  • Kitchen equipment repairs.
  • Provide excellent guest service to both guests and internal clients.
  • Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience

  • 6 years proven experience as a maintenance technician.
  • 2 years trade supervisor experience.
  • Must be knowledgeable in current OSHA regulations and safe work environment practices.
  • Advance demonstrable skills in one or more trades; electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, mechanical systems.
  • Proven experience with general maintenance processes and methods.
  • Proven experience and knowledge using tools, standard appliances, and devices.
  • Must possess a current EPA 608 certification.
  • Must possess strong computer skills.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands


To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift.

Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment. Must be able to work in a lighting subdued environment for extended periods of time. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions to include extreme heat and cold weather.

Typically, the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs.

on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to:
a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
