- Ensure a safety working environment, manage employee safety expectations and hold safety talks with your team.
- Develop and enforce warehouse management strategies to ensure operational efficiency and inventory accuracy.
- Manage the entire warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, distribution, cycle counting and maintenance.
- Ensure all operations comply with company policies and legal guidelines, maintaining standards for health, safety, cleanliness, and security.
- Optimize stock control, liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies, and oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and vehicles.
- Proven experience in warehouse management, demonstrating expertise in warehouse procedures and best practices.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in staff management, decision-making, and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and databases, and knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Excellent communication skills (bilingual in English/Spanish is a bonus).
- High School Degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years experience in a field warehouse environment.
