Purpose

  • This entry level Warehouse position is responsible to properly order, receive, store and account for parts or merchandise. In addition, performs instore customer service, overall organizational promotion, and stocking duties, as well as, pulling and ordering parts for the service department.

Essential Functions

The following are essential functions of this position:

  • Timely processing of sending and receiving of parts shipments (i.e. Customer & Stock Orders, Machine Down & Surplus Returns)
  • Posts freight to work orders or counter tickets as needed for parts orders & transfers
  • Perform cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory; report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products
  • Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
  • Assists with preparing and maintaining professional showroom image and merchandise displays
  • Maintains inventory integrity by verifying receiptingin of shipments and assisting with placing parts orders in their proper inventory locations; assisting in cycle counts; following up on inventory discrepancies and expediting issues by reporting to the Parts Sales Lead
  • Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
  • Making certain that the technician or customer receives the proper part on time as promised; call customers for parts pickup and delivers parts if necessary
  • Assists Supervisor with merchandising displays by restocking showroom inventory
  • Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
  • Assists in maintaining all departmental tools and equipment in good working order
  • Proactively seek and participate in available companysponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service

Requirements:


Required Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • Experience connecting with customers, maintain professional image, establish rapport
  • Demonstrated basic understanding of machinery
  • Forklift Operation
  • Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs

Preferred Education and Experience

  • One year prior parts sales experience.
