    Litigation Paralegal

    Location: Torrance, CA

    Salary and Benefits: $80K to $100K per year, along with Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Time and Holidays, Healthcare, Dental and Vision Coverage, 401k.

    Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire, Hybrid (2-3 days onsite)

    LHH is collaborating with a dynamic national litigation law firm to find an experienced and committed Litigation Paralegal to join their Los Angeles office in Torrance. In this role, you will be crucial in managing litigation cases, requiring at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, excellent time management, and interpersonal skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and organize complex litigation cases, including commercial litigation.
    • Support attorneys in trial preparation and trial support.
    • Handle Discovery processes effectively.
    • Conduct legal research and analyze relevant documents and information.
    • Prepare and maintain case files, exhibits, and trial binders.
    • Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, such as pleadings and motions.
    • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses as necessary.
    • Maintain and update case calendars, deadlines, and scheduling.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing complex litigation cases.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle a high caseload.
    • Experience in trial preparation and trial support.
    • Knowledge of legal research methods and tools.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
    • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Paralegal certification or degree from an accredited program is advantageous.
