- Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. government security clearance.
- Experience in supporting missile system software design, development, or testing.
- Familiarity with Agile software development processes.
- Previous experience leading software teams and using C/C++ language.
- Knowledge of embedded software or Real Time Operating Systems (RTOSs).
- Hands-on experience in developing and integrating real-time embedded software.
- Expertise in designing real-time embedded software on multi-core systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, MATLAB, or Perl.
- Experience presenting to program and customer leadership for design reviews.
- Certification in Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or Cost Account Manager (CAM).
- Background in DevOps or test automation, including digital simulations.
- Familiarity with the U.S. government proposal process.

Job Title: Principal Software Engineer - Software Product Owner
We are currently looking for a Principal Software Engineer to take on the role of Software Product Owner (PO) within the Software Engineering Directorate's Effectors Center, supporting a significant Advanced Technology missile program.
This dynamic position involves managing cost, schedule, planning, and execution for all Software Engineering activities of the Software Product team. Responsibilities include leading Estimate at Completion Reviews (EACs), agile backlog development, staffing projections, and monthly metrics. Additionally, the PO will act as a key interface between Software Engineering, the customer community, program management, and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will lead the team through all phases of software development and testing to meet aggressive software delivery milestones.
This challenging role is based in Tucson, AZ, within the Effectors Center of the Software organization.
