At HEES + PETERS, merchants for wholesale and foreign trade management have a wide range of responsibilities. They purchase goods from manufacturers to resell them to trade, industrial, and private customers. They are responsible for monitoring the product range and adding or removing products. They also handle logistics processes, monitor deliveries, check if delivery deadlines are met, receive goods in the warehouse, and ensure that the goods have arrived in the desired condition.

One of the main tasks is sales. They communicate with customers and provide advice, create quotes, and process orders. They check the inventory of ordered goods and ensure that our customers receive their orders as quickly as possible or at the desired time. If there is a complaint, they are the first point of contact for customers and strive for a quick and satisfactory solution.

In our specialized departments (fittings, security technology, building components, roller shutters, chemical products, fastening technology, tools, and stationary carpentry machines), our apprentices gain in-depth knowledge during their training. This is reinforced and deepened through internal training and workshops with our suppliers.

In addition to working in the specialized departments, apprentices in wholesale and foreign trade management are also deployed in our retail store at the tradesman counter, tool counter, key service, and cash register. They also gain experience in logistics, accounting, and marketing.
