Job Description Select's Parts Technician is responsible for locating the proper parts, billing parts through the shop used in the repair procedure.
This position is also responsible for the checking in and stocking process of parts for the fleet. In addition, the Parts Technician verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing parts using the business systems.This person will also assist in maintaining a high standard of excellence in the parts department to include personal and facility appearance.
The essential job functions include, but are not limited toEnsures that areas of the parts department are properly stocked.Picks up and/or delivers parts when instructed by service departments.
Ensures the cleanliness of the parts department by disposing of used boxes and trash, and dusting parts bins daily.
Crates all cores for shipment back to the manufacturer when part has been replaced.
Responsible for maintenance and inventory of shop tools, assist with the check in and check out. Ensure that shop tools are in good repair.
Assists the service department by moving vehicles/equipment as needed and delivering to other repair facilities for sublet repairs.
Sources parts from various vendors.

Must have strong computer skills and knowledge.
