    Description

    Bartech Staffing is a leading engineering, technical and professional staffing firm, and our clients include some of the nation's biggest companies.

    Our client has engaged us to assist them in hiring a contract Electric Motor Manufacturing Technician. We are searching for a self-motivated individual to fill the role of Prototype and Pre-Production Electric Motors Technician.

    In this position, you will be responsible the construction of prototype and pre-production electric motors for product and process validation and development.

    Additionally, you will participate in BPD, and on-site training programs. Document and track all department deficiencies through various problem-solving techniques.
    Work with Manufacturing Engineering to develop welding process for new motor designs.
    Operate machine shop equipment, and motor lab equipment (lathe, drill press, mill, robotic welder, wire forming machines)
    Perform motor electrical tests in accordance with authorized procedures.
    Maintain records on work performed, analyzes data collected and reports results

    5+ hands on mechanical experience
    ~ Associate degree or experience in mechanical or electrical activities.
    ~ Manufacturing knowledge of electric Motors
    ~ Knowledge of assembly build processes in Manufacturing
    ~
    5+ hands on mechanical experience must have
    ~ Manufacturing knowledge of electric Motors
    ~ CNC is a preferred qualification. Knowledge of assembly build processes in Manufacturing
    ~***Candidate will have a competitive advantage if they have a bachelor's degree in mechanical/ Electrical
