The Euclid Ortho-K treatment has a unique, empirically fit lens design with no trial lenses required.With headquarters in Virginia, USA, and offices in Shanghai and Beijing, China, Euclid is helping to lead the efforts in proactive myopia management across the globe.
We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician who would be accountable for following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and good manufacturing practices (GMP) to safely and efficiently manufacture extended-wear contact lens products, which are Class III medical devices.
The manufacturing technician will maintain and improve skills and proficiency in assigned areas of manufacturing, which may include:Blocking, lathing, surface and optical inspection, polishing and final inspection Material Issue, Packaging, Labeling & Shipping Managing inventory of manufacturing, packaging & shipping supplies Ensuring accuracy of device parameters using inspection equipmentAccurate completion of paperwork to ensure product acceptance and traceability Maintaining clean, safe, & efficient manufacturing environment Working collaboratively with production team under general supervision
Minimum Qualifications:
High-school diploma or equivalent experience Ability to check for defects and identify and distinguish between colors Skilled in reading and understanding the English language, to carefully follow instructions and standard operating procedures Excellent attention to detail and good organization Capable of working independently to a production schedulePreferred:1-2 years' prior manufacturing experienceMedical device manufacturing experienceCompetencies:Customer ServiceOral and Written CommunicationAttention to DetailsWorks with IntegrityResults Oriented / MotivatedTeamworkAnalytical ThinkingConceptual ThinkingBuild RelationshipsInterpersonal AwarenessInitiativeEstablish FocusDevelop and Supports OthersQuality AssuranceUnderstands importance of adherence to all relevant company manufacturing, shipping / packaging and quality assurance related to Euclid Systems Corporate SOPs, Forms, Logs and indexes to ensure compliance with FDA regulationsEnsures all orders are correctly fulfilledThe safety and health of our employees is of the utmost importance.
