- Contacting businesses with outstanding accounts receivable to negotiate payment arrangements.
- Utilizing high-volume phone experience to efficiently manage a large number of collection calls per day.
- Investigating and resolving any billing discrepancies or disputes with clients.
- Documenting all collection activities and maintaining accurate records of client communications.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as sales and accounting, to resolve issues and improve collections processes.
- Providing regular updates to management on collection activities and progress toward collection goals.
- Adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies regarding collections practices.
- 1-3 years of experience in business-to-business collections, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate payment terms and resolve disputes with clients.
- Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to handle a large volume of collection calls per day.
- Proficiency with collection software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records of collection activities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws governing collections practices is a plus.
