I.A. Engineering is seeking a Quality Manager to support transit project.

Quality Manager will be responsible for the oversight and enforcement of the contractor's conformance with the contract documents and for the contractor's implementation or quality assurance and quality control, including, but not limited to, special inspections.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Review the Contractor's Quality Program (CQP) and the Contractor's key quality management staff for the project and provide recommendations as appropriate.
• Review and approve the contractor's Quality Work Plans (QWP); inspection checklists and records; hold points and notification of hold point activity by work site.
• Assume managerial responsibility for scope of work and the direction.
• Ensure that a QWP for work activity is submitted in a timely manner per the contract requirement and no work is performed without an approved QWP.
• Ensure preparation of checklists for each work activity, hold points, quality concerns and actions to mitigate each concern.
• Verify established Hold Points identified in the QWP including sample work/mockups.
• Responsible for the management of the review submittals process.
• Must be familiar with prefunctional checks for commissioning provider or a systems integrator, inspections and tests.

Requirements:

• Engineering degree plus a minimum of eight (8) years of related experience, or the equivalent.
• Member of ASQ is a plus
• Experience working with MTA C&D, PANY&NJ is a plus
• Registered Professional Engineer preferred
• Superior interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and technical staff is required
• Efficient in Microsoft office
• Experience in CADD, BIM/Revit, Primavera is a plus

Pay:
$134, $168,000.00 per year
