Salary $70,000 - $1,000 Sign on Bonus


Integrated Community Services is hiring a Full-Time and/or Part-Time RN to provide HCS (Home and Community-Based Services) nursing coordination to individuals with intellectual disabilities in group home and natural home settings in the north/northwest area of Houston (Spring/Tomball area).

This RN position is similar to home health nursing, with some duties and documentation specific to meet the unique requirements of HCS (Home and Community-Based Services) regulations.

Our program provides rewarding job experience for any Registered Nurse interested in promoting the independence of people with disabilities.

Houston North / Tomball / Spring area


FT Shift(s):Monday - Friday
Hours: 11:00AM - 7:00PM


PT Shift:
Monday - Friday
Hours: 4:00PM - 8:00PM


Registered Nurse Duties Include:


  • Comprehensive and Focused Nursing Assessments
  • Training of unlicensed personnel
  • Medication management and administration
  • Documentation of care for 6 hours per day
  • Medical tasks and care
  • Coordinating medication supplies, medical appointments, medical emergency management, overthephone triage, medication management and general nursing quality
  • Narrative RN notes required for all tasks, approximately every 15 minutes
  • Travel less than 15 miles to 2 group homes per day, office errand car available during your shift

Qualifications:


  • Valid RN License Required
  • Valid and current Texas Driver's License
  • Clear Background Check
  • Clear DMV Check
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Proof of Education
  • No confirmation of Abuse/Neglect/Exploitation of an elderly or disabled person
  • No history of Medicaid fraud.
  • Experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (group home experience preferred)
  • Strong communication and teamparticipation skills; friendly, positive attitude.
  • General computer skills (not necessarily expert); be able to use Word, Excel, Outlook, and general internet navigation.
  • Must have excellent time management skills.
  • Must be capable of multitasking in a fastpaced environment.
  • HCS (Home Community Services) knowledge preferred.
