    Description

    Integrated Community Services is looking to hire for a Full time Benefits Coordinator position near The Woodlands/Spring Area

    Integrated Community Services house and serve over 300 individuals with intellectual disabilities statewide in group homes, natural-residential settings, and in the foster care model from six regional satellite offices.

    Job Duties Include but not limited to:

    HHSC
    • Apply, renew, provide, track requested documents by Food Stamps, Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security within 24 hours with case # and follow up every 10 days until complete
    • Resolve any issues that may arise with Medicaid, Medicare, and Food Stamp office within 24 hours and follow up every 10 days until complete
    • Review grocery request from Trust Fund Manager and check for inaccuracies monthly
    • Maintain spreadsheet of Food Stamps, Medicaid and Medicare eligibility daily
    • Request correct applied income from HHSC & follow up every 30 days until complete
    • Complete H1003 (Authorized Representative form), sign and send to HHSC
    • Resign as Authorized Representative from HHSC when client discharges
    • Resolve client medical bills by sending Medicaid and Medicare cards along with a dispute letter
    Social Security
    • Provide and track requested documents by Social Security within 24 hours and follow up every 10 days until completed
    • Correct issues that may arise with Social Security applications within 24 hours
    • Maintain correct information for Social Security and SSI
    • Send Representative Payee Documents to Region within 24 hours of admission and follow up to get the receipt within 5 days
    • Resign as Rep Payee from Social Security when client discharges
    • Prepare representative payee reports
    Wages earned reported to Social Security and HHSC
    • Report wages by the 6th of each month for client's wages earned
    • Maintain spreadsheet to track client's wages
    • Make sure SS and HHSC have correct amounts recorded
    Collect, maintain, check, record, and file funeral policies, social security cards, Medicaid cards, medicare cards, birth certificates, etc.

    Complete and send out New Client Checklist within 5 days of admission and follow up every 30 days until complete

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:
    • Must have at least 1 year of office experience
    • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
    • Must have 1-year experience in Excel
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Extremely organized and detail oriented
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Ability to Scan, Copy, and File
    • Ability to meet high speed demands with extreme accuracy and efficiency
    • 10 Key Punch
    • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
    • Ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment
    • Ability to make sound judgment calls
    • Work well with all levels of employees
    • Valid and current Texas Driver's License
    • Clear Background Check
    • Clear DMV Check
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent Proof of Education
    • No confirmation of Abuse/Neglect/Exploitation of an elderly or disabled person
    • No history of Medicaid fraud.
