- Ensure availability and good condition of tools, thread sleeves, molds, and raw materials.
- Coordinate with the planning department to meet production deadlines.
- Monitor machine setup for production orders, including mold setup.
- Ensure the first-run parts meet quality standards.
- Monitor the hydro-test process and ensure compliance with testing standards.
- Operate machines according to established procedures to maintain product quality.
- Record daily production activities.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Report machine, tool, and equipment errors to the department manager.
- Oversee all aspects of manufacturing within the production area.
- Administer appropriate disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies, after consulting with the department manager.
- Provide training to employees on production processes and report employee progress, concerns, and obstacles as needed.
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using gauges.
- Basic understanding of geometry.
- Ability to work with both Imperial and Metric measuring systems.
- Self-motivated with a commitment to achieving goals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective organization and planning abilities.
- Willingness to engage "hands-on" as required by production demands.
- Demonstrates an even temperament, fairness, firmness, and consistency with all associates.
- Salary ranges from $27 to $29 per hour, depending on experience.
