Job Description

Duties:Provides designrecommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy. Developsenterprise level application and custom integration solutions including majorenhancements and interfaces, functions, and features. Uses a variety ofplatforms to provide automated systems applications to customers. Providesexpertise regarding the integration of applications across the business.Determines specifications, then plans, designs, and develops the most complexand business critical software solutions, utilizing appropriate softwareengineering processes either individually or in concert with a project team.Will assist in the most difficult support problems. Develops .NET programmingand development standards and procedures as well as programming architecturesfor code reuse. Has in-depth knowledge of .NET programming language andobject-oriented approach in designing, coding, testing, and debugging programs.Understands and consistently applies the attributes and processes of currentapplication development methodologies. Researches and maintains knowledge inemerging technologies and possible application to the business. Viewed bothinternally and externally as a technical expert and critical technical resourceacross multiple disciplines. Acts as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor,and change agent.

Technical Requirements:

5 years architecting large scale mission critical .NET applications serving at least 1000 external and internal users and interacting with multiple applications.
4 years of .NET development experience on large government contracts with multiple stakeholders
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Must be able to work in a matrixed organization.

Education: A Bachelor'sDegree from an accredited college or university with a major in ComputerScience, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other relatedscientific or technical discipline. A Master's Degree is preferred.
