- Coordinate with shippers and truckers for the export of shipments
- Prepare documentation including Bill of Lading (BOLs) invoicing, certificate of origin, and export declaration or AES
- Maintain communication with vendor, shipper, customer, carrier, and operations by phone and emails
- Negotiate cost-effective rates with service providers to ensure maximum profitability
- Maintain SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and customer profiles including key contacts, special requirements, contract rates and preferred routings, services, and carriers
- Immediately report problems, operation disputes or discrepancies to operations
- Read and work in accordance with quality management work instructions
- Resolve billing discrepancies and discrepancies against client SOPs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in air freight or export shipping
- Good working knowledge of domestic and international geography including countries and major cities
- Basic knowledge of U.S. Administration Regulations (FAA, FMC, EAR, Hazmat) and other government agency requirements

This is a startup site so it requires a great deal of flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to change is a must.
YOUR ROLE
You will work with shippers, truckers, and customers for the export of shipments. You will arrange for pick-up or inland transportation, booking, document preparation, forwarding, and follow-up with tracking and tracing to the final destination. You will work, Monday - Friday from 4:00 am to 12:30 pm. The wage is $22.50 per hour with weekly pay.
