    Description
    VACO Atlanta has partnered with one of our clients to hire a Credit Assistant. This is a hybrid, contract role requiring 2 days onsite. This team is dedicated to managing AR effectively while supporting sustainable business growth. The team fosters a collaborative environment where individual contributions are valued, and where you'll have the opportunity to work closely with regional sales and the shared service team.

    Responsibilities:
    • Support sales and shared service team in managing accounts receivables.
    • Follow up on tasks, maintain strong relationships, and handle collections.
    • Use Excel skills for AR and account reconciliations.
    • Assist in setting up customer data and ensuring compliance with credit policies.
    • Drive credit risk awareness and assist with special projects.
    • Provide support for legal actions, insurance claims, and payment discrepancies.
    • Collaborate with shared services on cash application.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of relevant experience.
    • 3+ years of AR/credit experience.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in Excel and SAP or similar ERP systems.
    • Previous credit control or collections experience preferred.
    • Good understanding of credit management and business acumen.

    Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

    • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
    • licensure and certification requirements;

    With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
