- Greet clients, answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries
- Schedule appointments and setup new clients and patients; monitor daily schedule and flow
- Properly admit patients and determine whether immunizations/tests are current; make recommendations to clients for updates of necessary immunizations/tests
- Responsible for payment processing and ensuring accurate client electronic records
- Exhibit attentiveness, patience and compassion while working with clients and patients in various emotional states
- Assist in cleaning the hospital, which includes ensuring the reception area and lobby are stocked, clean and welcoming
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least one-year experience working in a Veterinary Hospital is preferred
- Ability to work weekends and holidays required
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts Monday - Friday if Full-Time
- Intermediate computer & software skills using Microsoft Suite or similar programs
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and continuous learning
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
