- Lead and collaborate with team to improve staff engagement
- Coordinating schedules of the hospital nursing staff according to patient census and acuity
- Acting as a creative leader combining nursing expertise, critical thinking and effective leadership and management skills to ensure that quality care is provided
- Collaborating with Directors, hospital staff and physicians to achieve department goals
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in Acute Rehabilitation Services. Ability to maintain accountability to State and Federal agencies. Strong leader that will come with ideas and take initiative to help grow the program
- License: State of California RN license required
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; any other pertinent certifications such as Certified Rehab Nurse preferred
- Computer Skills: EPIC EMR experience and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., MS Word, MS PowerPoint, etc.)
