Currently, more than engineers work for us to realize and sustainably maintain new bridges, tunnels, train stations, tracks, and signal systems - but that's not nearly enough.

As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you can plan, manage, or supervise something that will last:
the infrastructure for future generations.


We are currently looking for an engineer for the planning of signaling and safety technology (m/f/d) for DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH at our locations in Berlin, Cottbus, or Schwerin, starting as soon as possible.


Your responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for the cost, schedule, and quality compliance of infrastructure projects.
  • You conduct quality checks of the plans and advise stakeholders on technical issues.
  • You independently lead specialist projects in signaling and safety planning and take on project responsibility.
  • You also review the compatibility of signaling and safety planning components within the overall planning of all trades (interface project) as well as their plausibility, completeness, and quality in line with the task.
  • Furthermore, you review planning results from third parties (inhouse and external services) in terms of cost, schedule, and quality.
  • You contribute to the calculation of planning services and the preparation of offers.

Your profile:

  • You have a degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications, signaling and safety technology, or a comparable field.
  • Previous experience in planning
