This candidate is a person who excels in stakeholder communication, project tracking, release management, and team coordination.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the primary or secondary mortgage market industry, knowledge on the underwriting processes, along with a strong track record of working effectively with software development teams.
Our Impact:
Model Application Development team is responsible for converting models to application software. We evaluate millions of loans per day using ML algorithms. We turn ML algorithms to APIs using web services. We are responsible for implementing underwriting, servicing and loss mitigation models.
This is the place where the models become software, where many of the numbers that drive our business decisions are produced.

We have many projects within our Investment and Capital Markets application portfolio that need assistance from someone who can help manage, cohesively plan, report and present on technology requirements.
Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Tracking:
Keep meticulous track of project releases, milestones, and deadlines to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Release Management:
Coordinate and facilitate the release process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and successful releases.
Product Tracker and Jira Updates:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in project management tools such as Jira and product trackers, ensuring visibility and transparency for all stakeholders.
Mortgage Market and Underwriting Knowledge:
Apply expertise in mortgage market trends and underwriting processes to advise project decisions and requirements.
Software Development Collaboration:
Work closely with software development teams to understand technical requirements, resolve issues, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Resource Management:
Track project resources efficiently, including personnel, budget, and time allocation, to optimize project outcomes.
Deck Updates:
Build and update project-related presentations and decks, providing relevant information to stakeholders and senior management as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of proven hands on experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the mortgage industry or related field.
At least 2 years of technical project management experience
Experience performing requirement analysis and document for technical development teams.
Solid ability to work within the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Powerpoint
Experience presenting reports and presentations to team members, partners and leadership.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, with proficiency in Jira or similar project management software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse colleagues.
Familiarity with software development processes and terminology.
Ability to prioritize tasks, lead multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
Thorough with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $122,000 - $182,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.
The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
