(GDIT), a world leader in Defense IT Systems Integration and Services, is seeking an TDL/TDP Manager to join its Air Force (AF) Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Enterprise Product Support (EPS) team.
We provide modernization for the integrated sustainment of the AF DCGS which also includes lab support for operational, production and test environments.
In this position you perform project management coordination across various projects:
Manage and direct direct efforts of cross-competency teams, to include contractors across multiple sections, and serves as the interface and POC with Government leads and representatives on technical and project issues.
Prepare reports and briefs leadership on local project status and milestones as requested.
Implements and manages daily project operations by implementing procedures; planning and directing execution of technical, multi-disciplinary engineering, programming, maintenance, and administrative support effort and monitoring and reporting progress.
Responsible for team's delivery of IT services as outlined for this effort.Prepares trip reports for team members and checks for basic cost and policy compliance.
Manages projects and employment of project resources and administrative aspects of the project. Familiarity with Agile management processes and Scrum Master methodologies.
Basic Qualifications:
BS/MS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
8 years of experience with technical project management supporting large DoD IT programs
PMP desired
