    Job Description2nd Shift Supervisor, Direct HireHourly Pay Rate: $25-$26 BOE2nd Shift: 3:15-11:15Location: Hickory, NCMFG
    Specific Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
    1. Oversee the health, safety and well-being of all team members, products, and equipment
    2. Responsible for day-to-day ownership and accountability of all expectations, 6S compliance, and all other internal directives to maintain a positive safe work culture
    3. Engages with team members daily to build trust; leads by example and serves as a role model
    4. Ensures that all team members are trained and follows the appropriate SOPs
    5. Ensures the quality of product produced while working directly with quality, other people and performance coaches, team members, customer service and sales. Investigates and reports on issues relative to corrective action
    6. Understands and provides clear production goals (KPI's) to all members
    7. Oversees training, safety, corrective action, housekeeping, to ensure a positive work culture and high performing teams
    8. Identifies opportunities and gaps by troubleshooting and problem solving
    9. Extracts ideas (Kaizen) and makes improvements
    10. Controls cost by the efficient utilization and optimization of people, processes, and equipment
    11. Takes ownership for the review and approval of all manufactured material thru proofs and samples
    12. Builds teamwork and morale with strong employee relations
    Requirements:High School Diploma4 + years in a leadership role in MFG
