- Works independently to create and publish compelling, creative, SEO enhanced, and targeted product descriptions.
- Manages the daily coordination of product samples to prepare all product for sale on eCommerce platforms .
- Researches product technology, fashion trends, competitor websites, etc. to create accurate product features and specifications (material types, technical specifications, style notes, etc.).
- Develops product categories to support accurate site navigation, and helps to maintain them in conjunction with the eCommerce On-Site Merchandiser.
- Performs quality assurance checks for all stock keeping units (skus), including accurate photography, categorization, description, and product name.
- Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with merchandising and vendor partners to resolve asset discrepancies or sample acquisition issues.
- Partners with the eCommerce Photographer to resolve product photography errors.
- Acts as the liaison between merchandising and customer service to resolve issues related to the presentation of products online.
- Utilizes reporting to ensure optimal online inventory levels to drive better online conversion, revenue, and improve overall customer experience.
- Maintains product knowledge of historical, current, and future merchandise assortments.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and ability to create and maintain complex spreadsheets.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, maintaining multiple projects on an on-going basis with shifting priorities. Must be able to easily embrace and manage change.
- Strong follow up and follow through to ensure all tasks are fully completed.
- Strong creative writing and editing skills, along with strong oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Database knowledge preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem solving skills with an aptitude for critical thinking.
- A positive attitude and a great sense of humor that relates to our "fun-loving" brand is a plus.
