    THE ROLE

    Reporting to the Chief Information Security and Privacy Officer, you will lead the Global Abuse Prevention team, joining as a senior leader in Corporate ISP.

    Live Nation Entertainment's abuse prevention program aims to protect fan, client, and business interests from bad actors or those who deploy abusive digital behaviors designed to circumvent our controls that protect fair access to tickets.


    WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
    Reporting directly to the Chief Information Security & Privacy Officer, be the ultimate accountable thought leader of a multi-disciplinary team of product, technology and data scientist abuse prevention specialists accountable for ensuring:

    Full coverage, visibility, and controls over access to online ticketing
    Improved defenses with account intelligence at the edge
    Clear policies and guidelines that include deterrents in the form of financial and/or criminal consequences


    Responsible for spearheading Live Nation Entertainment's abuse prevention strategy, including the arms race against bot activity and other abusive online behaviors.

    Separate to the Fraud team, that also reports to the Chief Information Security & Privacy Officer, the team lead by this role of VP Abuse Prevention is specifically designed to focus on preventing and deterring online behaviors that attempt to disrupt consumer access to tickets to live events.


    WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

    Be a thought leader in modern abuse prevention strategies and tactics with a minimum of 10+ years' experience in the abuse prevention space.

    Have minimum 10+ years previous experience in heavily regulated industries such as Finance, Military or Government agencies preferred
    Minimum 7+ years' experience in managing large multi disciplinary teams.
    3+ years of previous experience in managing bot detection and incident response.
    Have a proven track record in policy creation, guidelines, data collection and process implementation.

    Be comfortable and experienced in advocating and explaining abuse prevention to both internal executives and external stakeholders such as clients, law enforcement and government officials.

    Work globally across time zones and cultures.

    The expected compensation for this position in California is:
    $228,000.00 USD - $285,000.00 USD
