- Strategic Planning: Lead the development of strategic marketing plans and campaign strategies that address client objectives, target audience needs, and market trends. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define campaign goals, messaging, and KPIs.
- Consumer Insights: Conduct market research, consumer surveys, and competitive analysis to uncover insights that inform strategic decision-making. Identify emerging trends and opportunities to differentiate client brands and messaging.
- Audience Segmentation: Define target audience segments based on demographic, psychographic, and behavioral characteristics. Develop personas and customer journey maps to guide message development and media targeting.
- Creative Briefing: Translate strategic insights into clear and compelling creative briefs that inspire creative teams and align with client objectives. Provide guidance and feedback to creative teams throughout the ideation and concept development process.
- Integrated Campaign Planning: Collaborate with media planners, digital strategists, and other internal teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, print, and broadcast.
- Measurement and Optimization: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track campaign performance and effectiveness. Monitor campaign performance in real-time and optimize strategies based on data-driven insights and learnings.
- Client Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor on strategic matters. Present strategic recommendations, campaign proposals, and performance reports to clients in a clear and compelling manner.
- Industry Expertise: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in advertising and marketing strategy. Share knowledge and insights with internal teams to drive innovation and excellence.
- Team Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the strategy team. Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and professional growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in advertising, marketing, or strategy roles, preferably within an advertising agency or marketing consultancy.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to distill complex information into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Proven track record of developing successful marketing strategies and campaigns that drive business results.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of advertising and media planning principles, including digital marketing channels and platforms.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and navigate complex client challenges with creativity and resourcefulness.
