Shipping Manager (m/f/d)

For our client, an industrial company located in Sarstedt near Hannover, we are looking for a Shipping Manager (m/f/d) for a permanent position.

Your responsibilities:


  • Managing employees
  • Ensuring smooth shipping processes
  • Implementing process optimizations and digitalization
  • Managing the external warehouse
  • Monitoring workplace safety, cleanliness, and organization
  • Maintaining packaging regulations and developing and implementing packaging concepts
  • Maintaining contact with freight forwarders and conducting project discussions
  • Negotiating rates and freight prices
  • Creating shipping statistics and evaluations

Your qualifications:


  • Completed 3year commercial apprenticeship as a freight forwarder or wholesale and foreign trade clerk
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar position
