General Description: Responsible for supporting new system initiative efforts. Define systems capabilities (custom or purchased) to enable the business to grow. Perform project management activities for the approved systems initiative efforts.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain project plans, issues logs and associated project artifacts in a system of record.

Write periodic project status reports and review project progress with project team and senior management.

Define and maintain systems analysis standards, deliverables, and processes.

Work with business leaders and IT to implement projects and systems changes.

Manage accountability of tasks for project members. Execute projects according to the project plan.

Act as liaison between business users and the IT team.

Develop business cases and financial models for systems enhancements and net new systems.

Transform user requests into business requirements and technical specifications.

Interact with business partners to learn and document requirements. Produce business requirements documents. Ensure that projects and solutions are delivered to end user satisfaction.

Develop test plans and test cases. Manage system testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Research problems and plan solutions. Coordinate development to meet business requirements.

Manage and execute system conversion activities including reporting, data mapping, system configuration, data analysis.

Define and document "as is" and "to be" workflows and review with line of business leaders.

Subject matter expert (SME) in insurance workflows and applications.

Interface with vendors to ensure vendor compliance to contractual agreements

Cyber Security Job Responsibilities:

Operate in accordance with USI Policies for the Information Security Program (PISP) and USI Standards for the Information Security Program (SISP).

Keep up to date with security updates and improvements. Implement improvements as appropriate.

Protect systems against unauthorized access by appropriately defining access.

Upgrade systems by implementing and maintaining security and technical controls.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

5-7 years of IT and/or systems experience.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Project management experience.

Advanced Excel and data analysis skills

Familiarity with SQL a plus.

Experience with insurance and/or sales applications and workflows a plus.

Ability to take ownership of projects/tasks and deliver successful results with excellence

Work independently and in collaboration with teammates and other teams

Experience with Agile or software development methodology a plus.

Ability to manage multiple complex and/or simple projects, ability to shift priorities as needed.

Physical Demands:

Work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment with minimal noise and limited to no exposure to chemicals or toxins.

Employees operate office equipment including telephone - headset, computer, computer monitors, keyboard, mouse, copier, scanner, and mail machine. Physical tasks of the job include walking, sitting, standing, and bending.

Analysis of Physical Demands:

Constantly (over 66% of time) work performed requires employees to use repetitive hand motions such as typing, using a keyboard, and sitting at a desk.

Frequently (34%-66% of time) work performed requires employees to handle and grasp things, walk on normal surfaces, stand, and bend.

Occasionally (1%-33% of time) work performed requires employees to walk on uneven or slippery surfaces to and from work and occasionally reach outward to grab things and bend.

Rarely (< than 1 hour per week) work performed requires lifting/carrying items that range from 10-50lbs, pushing/pulling items that range from 10-50lbs, twisting/turning including reaching over shoulder or above head, kneeling or squatting.

$100,000-$115,000. This is a bonus eligible position with a target incentive of 10%.
