Our mission-driven team is seeking a bold and dynamic **Business Analyst Intern** as part of the Marketing team who is fueled by problem-solving, continuously curious, and driven to understand our world, science/technology and life itself, for the benefit of all on Earth and beyond.

    We are looking for individuals who are passionate about learning, open to mentoring, coaching, customer service, and developing problem solving skills. The role requires organizational, time management, and communication skills. **The internship will be onsite at Axiom Space in Houston, Texas from September 16 to November 22.**

    **DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

    + Conduct detailed research and analysis of economic conditions, industry sectors, and market trends across various global markets.

    + Gather and synthesize data identifying opportunities to engage markets in the space industry.

    + Prepare comprehensive graphics, reports, and presentations that provide insights and recommendations based on market findings.

    + Collaborate with strategic planning, sales, and business development teams to inform opportunities to engage and grow in various markets and regions.

    + Monitor and forecast changes in global markets, identifying emerging opportunities and risks.

    + Support the marketing and sales teams by providing actionable insights and data-driven guidance on targeting and positioning.

    + Monitor and report on all space related competitors delivering full analysis of the industry with regular updates.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    **Education & Experience**

    + Rising Junior or Senior or Advanced Degree in International Business, Economics, Market Research, or a related field.

    + Cumulative GPA 3.0 or higher

    **Essential Functions**

    + Work Environment: Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.

    **Requirements**

    + Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.

    + Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.

    + Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.

    **Physical Requirements**

    + Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).

    + Equipment and Machines

    + Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).

    **Skills**

    + Proven track record of conducting market research and analysis, with a strong understanding of different economic and business models.

    + Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret large amounts of data and multi-source information.

    + Experience with statistical analysis software and research tools.

    + Strong communication skills, capable of working in a cross-functional team and managing stakeholders at all levels.

    + Detail-oriented with an aptitude for problem-solving and the ability to deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
