    Description

    The Respiratory Care Department is looking for a dedicated employee to join their team and participate in a wide range of essential activities.

    • Perform therapy procedures and assist with tracheotomy and ventilator management
    • Provide in-service education and interdisciplinary care
    • Complete therapist duties for facility and home care
    • Adhere to policies and procedures, work schedule, and provide emergency coverage
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and participate in staff education
    • Engage in quality assurance and equipment maintenance

    KEY INTERFACES

    • Interact with patients, families, healthcare providers, and fellow staff

    REQUIRED CRITICAL BEHAVIORS

    • Handle patient and family demands with professionalism and confidentiality
    • Communicate effectively and maintain compliance with policies
    • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Show sensitivity to patient and family needs in challenging situations
    • Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions

    Requirements:

    • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and make clinical decisions independently
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate care effectively
    • Experience in ventilator management preferred
    • Compliance with training and education requirements
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Valid driver's license and necessary certifications
