- Lead API testing efforts, including studying API implementations, performing impact analyses, and guiding QA teams to achieve comprehensive test coverage.
- Coordinate with development and project managers for release planning, ensuring a seamless contract between web and backend layers.
- Develop and execute API test strategies, manage test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Work closely with automation teams to prioritize in-sprint automation tasks and transform manual regression suites into automated ones.
- Act as a pivotal liaison between product, development, and QA teams, fostering a collaborative environment to meet and exceed sprint goals.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years focused on testing APIs (XML/JSON/SOAP, REST)
- Proficiency with at least one API testing tool.
- Solid experience (2+ years) working with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA/Confluence. XRAY knowledge is a significant plus.
- Demonstrated ability in writing and testing APIs, with a strong background in testing methodologies and the capability to adapt to short release cycles.
- In-depth understanding of Change Management processes and capital markets domain experience.
