    Lima One Capital, a nationally recognized leader in real estate investment lending, is seeking an accomplished and strategic Director of Operations to join our dynamic team in Irvine, California.

    This key leadership role involves overseeing the processing and underwriting teams, collaborating with sales teams, and ensuring the overall success of the Irvine office.

    Requirements


    Operational Management:
    Lead and manage the daily operations of the Irvine office, overseeing people, processes, and procedures.
    Directly manage the processing and underwriting teams to ensure efficient and accurate loan processing.
    Ensure the smooth running of daily operations by assessing and optimizing goals, strengths, and requirements.
    Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans for the Irvine office.
    Drive the success of organizational strategies by providing guidance and coordination to the entire workforce.

    Coordinate with leaders from the sales effort to support their efforts overall and to ensure a high quality customer experience.

    People Management

    Lead and inspire a high-performing team, providing coaching, feedback, and ongoing development.
    Analyze data and metrics to evaluate staff performance, maximizing productivity and driving overall performance.
    Collaborate with the Human Resources department for promotions, succession planning, and cohesive team dynamics.

    Duties

    As a Director of Operations, you are expected to routinely or on a daily basis:

    Develop, implement, and monitor daily activities of the organization, leading clear processes and procedures.
    Identify obstacles or bottlenecks hindering growth, productivity, and deliverable achievement.
    Ensure strict compliance with organizational processes, Health Safety and Environment standards, and quality compliance.
    Develop, analyze, and monitor metrics to evaluate staff productivity while monitoring day-to-day activities.
    Work with Human Resources to develop job descriptions, hire competent staff, and oversee staff training or onboarding.
    Manage procurement and resource allocations to departments in the organization.
    Ensure staff welfare by working with Human Resources.
    Work with senior executives for long-term business planning, strategy development, and succession planning.

    Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and non-verbal communication.

    Strong managerial and leadership skills to guide the organization toward its goals.

    Exceptional problem-solving skills to address issues that arise.

    Decision Making:
    The ability to make prompt, concise, and clear decisions.

    Negotiation Skills:
    Exceptional negotiation skills for internal and external negotiations.

    Teamwork and Delegation:
    The ability to promote teamwork, cohesion, and effective delegation.

    Education And Experience Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or related fields.
    Master's in Business Administration is preferred for larger organizations.
    Professional certifications are advantageous.
    Significant work experience in mid and senior-level management.
    Industry-specific work experience is necessary for Director of Operations positions.
