    Overview:
    We are hiring a qualified Civil Engineer Project Manager, PE based in or close to the Houston, TX area.

    Managing a team of Civil Engineers, reviewing construction documents, and providing QA/QC and design feedback & comments.

    Overseeing daily operations and deliverables that may be necessary for the development of RSG's various site development projects.


    Using advanced techniques, theory, precepts, and practices in a specialized engineering field to produce and continuously improve the department construction document deliverables.

    Planning, coordinating, and directing large and important engineering projects.

    Outlining project scope (e.g., budget size, design, schedule/timeline, etc.).

    Assisting with proposals and client management as necessary.


    Requirements:
    A Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas required

    Bachelors in Civil Engineering required

    Previous experience managing projects required

    4 years of land or site development experience is required.

    Civil 3-D

    Extensive knowledge and experience in grading, drainage, utility and other infrastructure designs

    Ability to use Microsoft Suite, specifically Outlook & Excel required

    Previous experience managing direct reports or indirect reports preferred

    Previous experience in construction preferred

    Ability & willingness to use AutoCAD daily on a design or review level


    Key Responsibilities:
    Manage projects from start to finish with direct communications with clients and Contractors

    Involvement in accounting tasks such as tracking, bids, and expenses

    Use of AutoCAD for drafting, design or QC efforts as needed

    Delegate or self-perform project timelines as dictated by workload

    Prioritize and juggle multiple projects at once

    Bounce to other teams as workload dictates

    Manage communication for internal resources, and accurate external communication as needed

    Potentially participate in Marketing /Business Development as opportunities arise

    Continuously educate team members on standards and changes within the client or scope of work
