**The Handball Bundesliga Women (HBF) is the association of all clubs participating in the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga (a total of 30 clubs). For our full-time headquarters in Dortmund, we are looking for a


PR & Communication Specialist (m/f/d)


Your main tasks:

  • Planning, organizing and implementing leaguewide press and public relations
  • Contact person for all media and press representatives
  • Writing press releases, PR texts, etc.
  • Editorial responsibility for the HBF website
  • Organizing media events, press conferences, etc.
  • Managing social media communication (currently on Instagram & Facebook) and its further development
  • Managing all communication around HBF events Final4 & Supercup
  • Implementing PR/social media campaigns with our partners and sponsors
  • Planning our advertising activities and acting as a liaison between advertising agency and service providers
  • Contact person for PR & social media representatives of the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga, e.g. regarding matchdayrelated PR work, season information, etc.
  • Editorial management of the HBF podcast "Heber, Dreher, 2 Minuten"

What you should bring:

  • Degree in communication studies or equivalent education
  • 23 years of professional experience in (sports) PR and social media
  • Good communication skills, creativity and a handson mentality
  • Independent and structured way of working and a high level of personal responsibility
  • Teamwork
