Job Description

Objective:

The Insurance Associate Agent is responsible for onboarding new clients and cross selling new business to existing clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Quote new business for Property and Casualty insurance
• Provide insurance applications and other paperwork to clients for signature

• Complete and submit insurance applications for underwriting approval

• Track and verify processing of all new business

• Accept client payments and assist with billing issues

• Work with Home Office to discuss client policy changes

• Stay up to date with all continuing education requirements

Requirements:

The ability to maintain all necessary state insurance licensing for Property/Casualty

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent oral, written, and telephone skills

• Detail oriented and highly organized
• Strong personal computing skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft products: Outlook, Excel, Word, and Access.

• Must be able to work with a wide variety of clients and agency personnel

Hours:

8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Mon- Fri With occasional weekend days and other times outside of normal work hours for special events, training, and vacations, including Saturdays. Schedules subject to change based upon business needs.
