As a customer account manager, you'll play a critical role in our success, working directly with our top customers to understand their changing needs and help us exceed their expectations.

You'll serve as a liaison between operations, outside sales and our customers, and will be the primary point of contact for daily business, responsible for communicating throughout all aspects of the order process and on-going account management.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Manage Projects related to Key Accounts (e.g., new parts/location changes)
• Perform purchase order processing, releases, changes, reschedules as needed for Key Accounts
• Perform regular contract review for customers including pricing, profit margins, and order quantities
• Facilitate on-boarding of new Key Accounts
• Work with Outside Sales on strategies to grow key accounts
• Meet Account requirements as needed (e.g., supplier training)
• Manage safety stock levels for Key Accounts
• Identify potential order discrepancies and takes action as appropriate
• Assist with delivery of customer quotations
• Maintain and facilitate relationships with manufacturing, engineering, quality assurance, and shipping personnel on production orders
• Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or his/her designee

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of account management experience required. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

LANGUAGE ABILITY:

Demonstrate superior telephone skills. Must have excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

MATH ABILITY:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:

Must be detailed oriented; a proven ability to assess needs, overcome objections and make decisions with little supervision. Possess excellent time management and organizations skills. Must be flexible in work assignments and work schedules and be able to work cooperatively as a team member and demonstrate respect and courtesy to all internal and external customers.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to learn to operate the computer systems used at Driv-Lok.

The employee will be working with telephone, computer, printer, CRT, copy machine, scanner, fax machines, phone system (main terminal access).

TRAVEL:

Work in office. Light travel between offices in Illinois and Wisconsin.
